04 e46 M3 ver, HC stereo and aux port?
I hear there is an aux port on the stereo which makes it possible to add factory ports for auxiliary sound like phone/M3/whatever?
I have a late 04, 11 or 12/04 I think with the HC sound system and factory non-nav deck. Any way of being able to tell if it has the aux port? If so, and if it does, any suggestions for mounting the aux port beyond cutting plastic? Thanks! |

Looking at the sticky, not trying to ask stupid questions honestly.. just confirming that port is there and if there is a "best" way of doing it.

your cd player should have the MODE button and it should work with an aux adapter.. there are several threads about this, just search for oem aux .

Sounds great and something I am going to seriously consider doing. Quick follow up question: When the Aux cable is installed, I assume hitting the mode button will add an [AUX] setting between radio and CD?
Thanks!
