Angel Eyes
I was thinking of getting angel eye lights but i'm not sure which ones are best. I am seeing 6000k 7000k etc but not really sure which to get. Also are these difficult to fit? I dont know a lot about car electrics so is it a diy job for a novice or do you recommend having these fitted by an expert? Is it likely to be an expensive job to have them fitted? My car is a 2003 pre facelift 330ci with non xenon lights. Can anyone recommend a decent set of lights as there are so many to choose from online. Cheers

Umnitza.com. Get either 6000k for a white look, or 4300k for an amber look. The DIY is pretty simple. Just follow the instructions correctly and youll be fine. Get the LED ones and don't cheap out on a crappy eBay set.

Paying the extra money is so worth not having your car set on fire.. If you want cheaper ones get the Orion Lites. I had them and they were definitely bright enough

For inexpensive, you can order the Orion Lite for $70, or you can order the Orion V2 for $160<-- and never worry about them breaking down...ever.

And whatever you do, now that we have LED, stay far away from CCFL.

CCFL = something we invented into the market place in 2003 when a competitor decided to go with NEON based rings, we went with CCFL based rings that were thinner and brighter.
You can search in this forum to see for yourself, but CCFL has been around a long time and over time has proven to be less reliable than originally expected - though many kits out there still work regularly because we are frequently upgrading local customers that have had our Chromium kits and they are working just fine.
