I want theses seats for my place

http://www.usedairlineseats.com/

How bad ass would it be to have a set of 1st class seats off an old 747 or something to lounge around in?

I need to get a house so I can have an office. Forget a couch or chairs - imagine a pair of those puppies!

Has anyone else experimented with this? Discovery used to have a show called "Wing Nuts" where they fabed up desks and all sorts of crap out of airplane wings and other parts.

Just looking for some anecdotal experience.

Yeah, I'd rather not have seats that have been used literally 1000s if not tens of thousands of times already. If you want aviation furniture, check out this stuff http://www.motoart.com/

There were some airplane seats at a house on campus when I was in college, and people would sit in them, pull the trays out of the arm rests and break up their weed on them.

They have sweet 747 seats but I think it would be cool to have a set with a story behind it. Like those seats have been on 6 continents, maybe someone famous sat in em etc etc.

Oh man they have the wing-tables an everything....friggin sweet.

These seats have had more sex than you ever will. Yeah, not interested in jizz-covered crappy leather.

I'll go with a nice la-z-boy.

Ok, thousands of fat business men have pushed their farts into those seats. Is that any better?

One of my friends rich parents had deep sea fighting chairs installed at their bar.

Was pretty cool but they were like 10k each or something stupid.

Airline seats just seem silly.

OP, it'll probably similar on the skeevy meter, and a fraction of the cost, to just go buy the seats out of a 90's crown Vic taxi cab. Maybe the "front recliner" will even still have a bead mat on it.

Kudos if you can get a police interceptor back seat.

$45k wow. The bar must be way up there, it looks more detailed than the table.

Um, not very awesome.

They look pretty gross. They are used, and probably ready for the trash.

Plus you'd have to modify them to stand on their own without being bolted down to something.

And if you don't plan on recovering them: gross.

They don't look comfortable, or cool at all.
