They didn't make it clear that he was the future. If they did, they should've fired d'Antoni.
Kobe also said he's gonna be playing another 3 years. Bum taking up cap space and a ball hog.

It might not seem like it now but Dwight leaving is a blessing for the Lakers. Dwight is so overrated and let's be honest he hasn't played well since his days in Orlando. His time with the Lakers was a disaster even though some of that blame can be put on coaches Brown and D'antoni. Dwight also could not handle the pressure of playing in a market like LA, that alone is a reason not to sign him. Lakers dodge a big bullet I know it may not seem like it but signing this guy would of been the equivalent of the Yankees signing Arod for the 2nd time. Look how well that's turn out.

Bynum had some "personality" issues, but if he wasn't injured it would have been a non issue.

Not defending bynum, but he gets crap for being injured and not being able to play. Meanwhile D rose is healthy yet chooses not play, but gets a pass by many hometown fans.

I'm not giving crap about his injuries. I'm giving him crap about being a baby. It was well know. Dr Buss had a lot to do with Bynum stay in L.A..

The biggest complaint philadelphia had about bynum was being injured and not being able to play. Really ruined their season

You think it was all injuries? you don't think his pouting due to being traded had anything to do with it? I sure do. I mean does no one remember his pouting in LA?

It was injuries, remember he went bowling and reinjured his knee midseason?

You don't honestly remember the whole separating himself from huddles? The forearm blow on jj barrea? Those don't have to with injuries.

Poor attitude.

At the beginning of last season there was a lot of excitement and good vibes all around with bynum and philly.

Truth be told bynum has been the subject of trade talks for years, but it never affected his play. He was really matter of fact about trade talks at the end of the 11-12 season. Just look at how trade talks changed the play of odom and gasol. Sure bynum and brown had a little spat, but it didn't bring down the team. It all started out with a 3pt attempt IIRC which wasn't a big deal IMO

All those things have to do with his attitude. And they were just icing on a cake for him. Trade talks never realized because of Dr Buss. But even he finally realized that with Howard available, no point to keep a injury prone player with a bad attitude. Turns out Dwight attitude wasn't much better

No MWP, no care. I don't even think I can watch the Lakers play this upcoming season anymore.
