Not sure where you live, but im pretty sure red turn signals are illegal in most of the US.

I do not care for the wheels, it's too much black and all red tail lights? I'd suggest that you look at BMW Style 197's.

I live in Florida. I don't think red signal in the rear are illegal. Front yes.

Nope I just looked it up, all turn signals must emit amber light. Chances you get pulled over for it? I don't know, but if you do don't be surprised.

I guess you don't drive around the US much, but many (most?) new cars these days have gone back to red turn signals in the rear. Personally, I think this is terrible because they don't show up nearly as well as amber. But there certainly aren't laws preventing it - at least not for new cars.

This is not true as far as I can tell. The world over, only amber rear turn signals are legal, but in North America, red is still allowed...although, apparently, not the safest.

From Wikipedia, FWIW
"virtually every country in the world has since at least the early 1970s required rear turn signals to emit amber light so they can immediately be discerned from adjacent red brake lamps. U.S. regulations still permit rear turn signals to emit red light on grounds of cost-effectiveness[12][13][14] despite NHTSA research showing amber rear turn signals instead of red ones give a larger crash-avoidance benefit than the 3rd brake light.[15][16]"

It seems the NHTSA even did a report in 2009 about how ambers are indeed better.
www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/Pubs/811115.PDF

Cost-effectiveness of going to amber is too much for the American automobile manufacturers.

So...red is legal, but apparently not the safest.

That is for car makers, IE a car maker is aloud to produce a car with red turn signals. I'm not 100% on Florida but I know for a fact that in NY, NJ and CT that you can get a fix-it ticket for changing the color of light emitted from any light on your car. So if you car comes with red tail signals your OK, but if they come amber and you change them to red, not OK. Same thign with mirrors. There is no law requiring side mirrors in the US, but if you car came with them (as all cars do) you cant delete them.

How much its enforced? I don't know.

Allowed. And you are wrong. You can change to red turn signals as long as they meet DOT specs.

No I would have lost, in NYS its colloquially referred to as the missing equipment law. They can give you a ticket if you are missing or have altered any lights, mirrors or glass that was issued with the car from the factory.

If I drive a ferrari and dont have any rear visibility because the engine is in the way thats OK, but If I have a perfectly fine glass rear to look out of and I decide I want to paint it black, I am altering the glass and can be issued a fix it ticket under the so called missing equipment law.
