Clutch issue

I have a 2001 330Ci. Back in June I had new clutch installed with an after market clutch kit, Gripforce Stage 2 with single mass flywheel, sprung hup disk and a LUK self adjusting pressure plate.

I now have about 8K miles on it and it just started slipping, I am very easy on clutches so I don't think I have abused it, although I did do 1 HPDE with it but I was not slipping or feathering the clutch.

One thing I did notice is the release/engagement point of the clutch seems really high, when it it was first installed the release/engagement was maybe an inch or two from the floor, now it seems to release with about an inch of pedal travel. This does not seem normal for a self adjusting clutch.

Is it possible that the bolts for the pressure plate have loosened up?
Or is the clutch really trashed?
