Sunroof Delete Project (lots of pics)

Just did a sunroof delete on my 330 and wanted to share some pictures of it. This is something I've wanted for a long time, being that it takes weight off the worst part of the car. With the sunroof out, the car should be sitting at around 2900 lbs.

I got the panel from s2r tuning and the quality of it is unreal. I still can't believe how spot on the fitment is. I chose carbon fiber 1) because it looks like factory glass from a distance and 2) matches the hood and rear diffuser which are also carbon. To be honest I was afraid it was going to look ricey, but it actually looks really really good. Also got hold of a non-sunroof headliner to make the switch as clean as possible.

Old sunroof out:

New panel in:

Yes. You just re-use the original screws that hold the sunroof in. S2R Tuning did a great job on the mold, it fits right in there like factory. All the holes line up.

Before putting the cf delete in, you will need to run a bead of waterproof silicone around the bottom edge of it. But that's about it. Then just plop it in and screw it down.

Thanks! The garage I did myself and it came out pretty sweet. I'll try and get more up!

Looks great! I am about to install my sunroof panel as well, though mine is from Chad Nelson (RIP). Would you mind taking some close ups of the corners? I'd like to see the fitment and how much gap the silicone needs to fill between the panel and the roof cutout.
