SOCAL: Anyone good with Audio Installs? Need a AUX output Installed!

Hey guys,
I really don't want to install the DICE modules to be able to connect my iPod to my car. (they have lag time when you change the songs and such)
Just want the basic AUX output to be able to plug my iPod directly to my car.
For reference I have a 02 M3. (stock headunit)

I'm not too good with audio stuff, so that's why I'm reaching out to see if anyone in the socal area is good with this kind of stuff.

Thanks in advance!

i think only 04+ headunits can do aux. check if you have a mode button on your radio. usually if it does, then it should be possible to do it.

i found this awesome wire that plugs directly to the back of my headunit and has a 3.5mm jack on the other end:

yea iono, never used that. they don't even have a picture of the cable in question. just the other end of the aux cable. i'm familiar with the DIY AUX method. however, that only works on certain headunits.

it's not the car, it's the radio that determines whether or not he can have aux.

My Ride: Lots of Cars!
I am running a blitz safe audio convert from the cd changer.

This is the one I purchased on ebay and it was easy to install.

If you need help, let me know. I set mine up next to the seat warmer controls but you can mount it almost anywhere.
