Will the M3 Go 60 MPH in 1st gear?

Never drove one before. But overhear someone say that their "M3" can go 100km/h in first gear? Is this possible?

I would say no chance.

Here:
http://www.bokchoys.com/differential...calculator.htm

Says about 40mph/65km/h in first and 67MPH/107km/h in second. Which sounds about right with me not going out for a drive.

More like a diff ratio of 2.3.

6th would be about 325mph.

LOLSS!!

How is this even a legit question? Of course it wont do 60mph in 1st. Not a stock one at least.

+1.
Yep: you'll break 60 in second pretty close to the limiter. First gear won't do it.
