Car running with A/C

This is for an e36 m3.
I used A/C again today with no issues of overheating like last time. My next issue is that why does the car feel so sluggish?

It speeds up fine but when I am doing some city driving at 35mph at 3000 rpms and keep it at that, I am feeling some sluggish performance. Its as if that car is struggling to keep the car at 3000 rpms. I feel some slightly noticeable jerking. If I wasnt so anal with the car, I would not have picked up the jerking.

There are no codes. The car runs good without the A/C. I was thinking to have my A/C system professionally flushed out, cleaned out and refilled. I dont know if that would do anything to fix the issue. But I work at a dealership so I can take advantage of all the tools present.

Where to go from here?

if you overheated the engine, you probably have some damage that may be causing the sluggishness you are noticing. Compression loss comes to mind and may not necessarily throw a code.

Re: Car running with A/C

I didnt overheat the engine. The temp moved a little past 12 o clock when a/c was on. I turned ac off and temp went back to 12 o clock
