6 years ago I paid $250 for all windows including full windshield, and after 6 years the tint was still flawless, sold the car though, and picked up a new one and I'm gonna go back to the same place and pay the same to get a perfect tint job!!

Stay stock my friends!

So I was at Tropic Tint in Union today...just for the record if anyone is looking...
$219 for a 2-door/ $249 for a 4-door You can use 3M or LLumar...that they say is better than 3M, but it's the same price for either. If you want really good tint, then they have Suntek CXP, which is a ceramic tint for another $200. Anyway, I can personally vouch for their work...they do all the bmw dealers' cars around the area...been doing it for over 20 years. You might want to read long term reviews of tints so you don't get stuck with one that turns purple in a few years.

I got mine at shades of grey in Philadelphia. Think the rate was like 160$ with a lifetime guarantee. Bubbling peeling anything. They do everyone's car around here it seems dealers to clubs everybody knows them. And I couldn't be happier they have tinted every car I owned so far

its a lifetime warranty on the work, not the actual tint. You are not covered on the warranty if your tint starts fading or going purple (like mine are right now)

How the F can you warranty the work? As in the work isn't done right? They will do it again, you gotta pay for the material they didn't work right the first time?

yup. they trick you into thinking you got a legit warranty. on the brightside, if you leave your car outside of the sub, the tint will last longer. I have no garage nor do I have any shade at my house so summertime really ruined my tint. The rear windsheild is turning purple. once winter ends, Ill be taking it off and getting ones with a legit warranty. Possibly at my friends shop. Newark is a little too sketchy

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. This is why its important to know what you're getting as well, ask the tinter what film he uses and then do some searching online. Its not much of a savings if you spend $100 and then spend $200-300 to do them again at a legitimate place which uses good tint.
