Abs and traction control light is on
Just bought a 99 e46 and the abs and traction control lights are on. What are some common problems with this car that would cause this?

A failed/failing wheel speed sensor could cause those two lights to come on for sure - the easiest/best thing that you could probably do is go down to an 'indy' shop or an Autozone and have them scan your car (most will do it for free) and see what codes are being thrown. Hopefully it is not your ABS module, it's not very common but they can fail. Try to get the car scanned and tell us what the codes are. Good luck
