Which type of pedal do you prefer?

May not be thread worthy, but I was just thinking about it.

Which kind of gas pedal do you prefer? One attached at the top or a floor pedal (like BMWs)?

I can't stand anything but floor pedals now

I like the floor pedals in most cases. I feel like I can plant my foot and be sure of the position where as other pedals that hang down from the top are weird. I always seem to have a different footing on them every time I press down.

I have hanging pedals on my car and it took me a while to heel-toe (plus the weird height difference they have in VAG cars), whereas on the floor pedals I found it easier.

I actually found it easier because of the height difference in VAGs. I guess my feet just naturally move at that angle.

Don't care, as long as it's fairly stiff. I don't like the light feel of the new DBW cars because the light weight makes it hard to control and twitchy, which is only amplified by the DBW system.

Aggressive/short trips = top pedal

Lazy driving/long trips= bottom

Gas pedal is, others aren't. Are we just talking about the gas pedal? If that's the case, then floor mounted all the way. Heel-toeing is easier with the pivot point down on the ground.
