header questions
I searched this a few different ways and didn't quite come up with what I was looking for so here goes. I'm in the market for some headers for a 330i ZHP the only company I really trust is Doug Thorley unfortunately they have nothing for a 330i.
I found some on bimmerbrakes.com for $255 found a set on ebay made by "top speed pro-1" http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E46-325i...sories&vxp=mtr And the AA headers for $1100. are the AA headers worth $800 more than the rest of them? I need something that deletes the cats. does anyone have suggestions of headers? or even a full system that removes ALL the cats/resonators? |

Search for Kpeng's thread on headers. Bimmerbrakes headers are great and they're about to come out with equal length headers for 330's, GL

If you want some catless headers, sit in the classifieds section and wait for a set of Technik Gen3s to pop up. Expect to pay close to $800. These are going to net better gains than anything out there right now.
If you need to go a little more budget, go BimmerBrakes. They are actually working on a set of replicas for the above mentioned, too. If you need to keep cats in the car, go with Magnaflow. Small gains, but you'll stay legal. Do not pay $1100 for AA headers.

Bimmerbrakes headers are great!! Just my .02 I'd stay away from eBay unless u got a shop preset to possibly help with some shitty welds and bad bends

i'm thinking of going with the bimmerbreaks headers. how can I stay leagal in CA? do I have to add cats downstream or can you pass smog with using stock exhaust back w/o cats? also what o2 sims would i need. thanks for any info.
it would be going on a 02 325i auto. |

if youre in cali i cant imagine the headaches headers would cause. its not worth it at all if you live where they do emissions testing.
