opinions on this ZHP?
Sold my 325i a while back and I've been looking around for a good deal on a zhp with lower miles. Imola red wasn't my first choice, but this seems like a good deal. Low miles, only about 35 miles away and seemingly good condition. Maybe too good to be true? What do you guys think? Thoughts would be appreciated,

Price seems right. Call a local dealer and set up a PPI. I would slip a used car sales guy at the dealer $10-20 to take a paint meter to it and check the car fax.

100% star stuff

Dealer will totally hose you on a PPI. Scour yelp and ask fellow fanatics about a good shop in the area instead.

Why would you not want to get "hosed" at a dealer during a PPI? Techs at dealers love e46's bc they are "gravy work" thrust me they will find everything wrong with it and try to up sale. If you go with an Indy, be sure to ask if they have a paint meter.

Try to contact the seller. He/she is listing it as just an e46 w/ ZSP.
My friend got one last year from a girl, and she didn't know it was a ZHP. You have some room to bargain. But either way. It is never wrong to buy a ZHP. I wished I had the money to collect all the ZHPs in the market lol. They are so rare! My friend who got his ZHP last year got rear ended and totaled. Insurance paid 26500. He paid 18000 from that girl who thought it was just a ZSP, 38000miles when purchased. Last edited by J LAU; 10-18-2012 at 09:31 PM. |

Looks like it's worth a look. Go check it out, quickly.
Imola is a great color, BTW. Quote:

I think they're rarity is exaggerated. I feel like every week we get a new ZHP owner in here and I see one every now and then just driving about. I wish I had my camera on me a few weeks ago I parked in a lot and a couple spaces away there was an Imola sedan with RCR tails that looked identical to my car, only dirty as hell.
