The only code I ever get is P1500. I already cleared all adaptations. Would this issue still be present?

Also, I thought the M54B30 was 10.6 to 1 ratio?

Take a look here. Mixed opinions though as to what a P1500 means.

THis shows Idle Speed Control Valve Stuck Open. Maybe it just needs cleaning??

Thats the compression ratio. That ratio is determined by this:

Volume of 1 cylinder at bottom dead center / Volume of 1 cylinder at top dead center

All cars try to run the same Fuel/Air ratio. That is just how the chemistry works. You need 14.7 parts air to completely combust 1 part of fuel. It varies with air quality though. This assumes air with a composition of 79% nitrogen and 21% oxygen.

someone brought up the hose from the icv to the intake. Would that be the grey one that sits inside the intake manifold ?

Don't know the hose you are talking about. Can you find it on here?

It is the idle control valve we are talking about when using ICV acronym isn't it? Just that there is no evidence of a grey tube on my ICV. So I don't know the tube in question.

Did you happen to replace it when you replaced your icv?

I could not get to my fuel pump relay, but a bad fuel pump relay is supposed to cause absolutely no power to the fuel pump, therefore the engine would not start at all. We would have stalling issues and etc.

The picture is what popped up from the live data on my 1.4.0 scanner when in limp mode..

I didn't see anything about cylinders, maybe it doesn't have the technology for that..

Click on data group + button. That should give u more stuff. Plus you need to scan each module and double click on them to see the error. The ICV would be in DME.

Ahh.. other buttons. Woops. I'll do that! I have been into the DME module, I'm trying to find other errors to see if anything else is happening momentarily but not showing up as errors on the DME.

So my steering angle sensor must be out. Has anyone heard of that causing limp mode?

I'm thinking the MIL status is just saying that I am in limp mode, because limp mode forces the engine to run rich, right? I need to run this again and see the other pages.. the problem is my computer dies in about 5 minutes so I can't keep running the test.. unless I go buy a new laptop battery, or a converter..

Idk if that would cause the eml light to come on, but I know it causes the brake and traction control light to come both yellow of course bc it happened to be before, then I got an alignment and it went away
