Tail light compatibility

Hi,

Will tail lights from a '00 BMW sedan fit an '04 BMW sedan (facelift)? I'm looking at buying some LED ones but I am not sure if they'll be compatible with my car.

Thanks for your help!

Physically they should be (dimensions are the same). But naturally there will need to be some adapting to make the LEDs work right and not show codes on the dash.
