Black trim/molding delete?

I've been looking at a bunch of pictures of members' cars on here and many of you for lack of a better word, deleted your black trim/molding. How do you go about doing this? Did you paint the trim the same color as the car, or take it off etc...?

I like the look.

Paint/vinyl/etc. You can't just take it off. It will look funny.

I like my black trim!

vinyl wrap. the black trim on the doors are some sort of rubber that flexes a lot and sees a lot of contact against other doors or objects so painting it would eventually result in flaking off.

Thanks for the input. Is it hard to get the trim off to wrap it in vinyl?

Comes off very easily. You will probably break a few retaining clips though. Read the following... http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...+moulding+wrap
