Check engine light on

So I was driving through the snow, only a couple of inches, and out of nowhere my check engine light came on. I played around in the snow a little bit, but nothing too bad. When I opened the hood, there was a sizzling noise. I couldn't see anything cause it was pretty dark. Any idea what it can be?

Go to autozone and have them read your codes

You need to provide code reader results. Some auto parts stores let you use their code reader to pull codes, write them down and clear 'em. You can buy a decent OBDII reader for around $45. Codes such as: P3201 will help you narrow down the offender. Post them up here and you'll get reply's.

Sizzling noise? We can't work with that limited description. Could be many things.
