No, I listed my full routine in post 26 (today's workout was listed under Thursday there, days got shifted somehow). I do the same lifts every week. Just not logging them all, just the biggest lift of the day.

Do you do anything for conditioning? You do same some fat and I'm trying to figure out your plans so it doesn't get too bad. You do have a nice base though.

Thanks. I do 20 minutes of steady state cardio after each workout if that counts. I only do it to keep some of the fat burning mechanisms active while bulking. Not overly concerned with the fat I have right now. I have been eating everything within sight since August, and only recently started to see some fat around my belly. Rest of my body seems to be getting leaner in the meantime. I'll continue to bulk until I don't see any vascularity in my biceps, or until sometime in March, whichever comes first.

Re: SeanC's progress thread

I just did push presses the first time my life. Wrists couldn't take it.

A couple of warm up sets, then:

105x6
105x4 that's where wrists went south.
95x8

Apparently technique is very important, so is flexibility. I have neither. Lol

A lot of times it's shoulder mobility too. I wish you were close to me I could show you some things. When front squatting pretty much only the finger tips are on the bar. It rests perfectly on the shoulders. Just keep practicing the rack position with even more weight than you can Squat up. Just unrack and hold it.

Yeah I think my issue is a combination of wrist problems and shoulder mobility. I feel like I have to arch back (in order to get the bar in proper position) because I can't get my elbows up high enough to stabilize the bar, if that makes any sense.

how are you holding the bar? wrist bent back? or aligned straight up and down?

take some video for me if you can. If you can't get elbows up try to widen the grip a bit.

Too be honest I haven't put much effort into it, I can go plenty heavy with a cross armed grip on front squats, but I want to learn cleans, jerks, snatches, etc. I just need to go to the gym on a weekend when it's not packed and mess around.

My constant elbow pain is going to be an issue though, if and when I do this I'll try to get some videos.

I'm just not a fan, and I know a lot aren't, of the cross arm method. Not as much control or transition into the clean. Like you said, just play around with it. I feel nothing in my elbows so hopefully you don't either.

I don't see how one can do heavy FS with crossover grip. Once I switched to Olympic grip, never looked back. It takes some practice to get used to, I use 3 fingers on the bar and leave the pinkie off, otherwise wrists get too stiff with heavy weights.

I have wide shoulders, I've gone as high as 225 with a crossover grip with no issues.
