E46 325 muffler delete FS.

Section of dual pipe(2 1/4 oem size)bent and welded to be a direct fit to replace rear muffler. Has custom bent metal to attach piping to the factory hangers. All you need to do is have this welded to your stock pipes, the bending and fitment is already done for you.Simply weld in place of your rear muffler and have a an upgraded exhaust note that sounds great, and save you hundreds that a catback will run you. 80 Obo

Thinking of doing muffler delete I'll go to a couple of shops near me and ask how much for labor and tips and all and if it's reasonable I'll get it done if I save money through you then we might have a deal sir

Did you lose any fuel economy when you switched to the delete? Did you notice a loss of torque and power as well?

Can the setup be crush bent out on the ends to slip fit over the factory pipes as opposed to welding?

I could sense a slight loss in fuel economy but it was not bad. As for torque I really couldn't tell any difference, be that gain or loss. I wouldn't be doing this if your looking for any power gains, just a nice increased exhaust note.

Pipes could be modified to fit stock tips with minimal effort.

Thanks for the quick reply - I have an XI touring - adding anything performance related is simply nonsense, I was interested in a bit more sound, however do not want to impact the current fuel economy (which is outstanding). A loss of torque usually correlates to lower city MPG.

Thanks for the info!

I just did mine this afternoon and it sounds great, no performance gain (wasn't expecting it)...but a great growl, nothing more!

Does it include tips or is this simply a piece of bent pipe with the hangers welded up? Thanks
