Are there any TV techs on here?
Guys I need an answer, I have a 37" vizio (VW37L HDTV 20A) I can turn it on and get audio but no picture. The back light will flicker on power up but nothing.... I just need to know if I should get a new mother board or inverter board
 * Want it, Need it, And gotta have it!!!*

You need to take a flashlight to the screen and look for a picture.
Bad inverter = image but no backlight Bad video board = no image but there is a backlight. That TV sells for $150-$200 and it never was a good TV. If the video/main board is the issue, it's time for you to upgrade. |

i got the tv givin to me..and found an iverter for $60...ill try the flashlight thing
