My HPF Stg2.5 is all done now!

My car has been at HPF for roughly 3 and a half months getting a Stage 2 to Stage 2.5 upgrade along with the 6766 upgrade, and open wastegate/dump option. In the meantime I also upgraded to the HPF oil cooler and their fan clutch.

The journey was tumultuous and I had to upgrade certain things by necessity. With the help of Erik G, he convinced me to go:

Clutchmasters FX850 Bronze twin disc clutch/flywheel.

Once that was on and the car was being tuned, the axle decided to explode as seen on the video in my previous thread.

So with that happening, more delay and I opted to get DSS upgraded axles.

Finally after all is said and done, here are the results:

I would like to personally thank Erik G, Kris G, Chris B, and Kirk for keeping me informed, being honest, and trying to keep my sanity as I waited for the car and waited for more things to break.

You guys are truly awesome!

Congrats Pat. Those are some big numbers for a stage 2.5. Let us know what you think of the 6766!

Incredible numbers for the 2.5! Is the 6766, open wastegate, and ti exhaust the reason for these 2.5's making nearly 100 more rwhp than the original 2.5's a couple years ago? I seem to recall on HPF's website pump gas being in the mid 500's and race + meth being mid to high 600's...

Major congrats Pat!

I could not have said it better. With one of the new tubulars and maybe a bigger air filter I can see 800 PLUS RWHP from a stage 2.5 just around the corner. The S54 is finally coming into its own.

Funny how it and the 2JZ are both old discontinued platforms but destined to be with us for a long time.
The S54 is destined to be a classic by all indications. I guess you can say it IS a classic.

HPF is helping the S54 make a name for itself, I truly believe there's still a significant amount yet to be unlocked from it (not that 1000rwhp on a 3.2l is bad by any standard). We shall see in the next year or so.
