Check out my new bulbs what are your thoughts?

My bulb recently went out so I hoped on ebay and ordered the cheapest bulbs I could find LOL
Anyway I was quite pleased with the results. What do you guys think?
The passenger headlight has the 6000k bulb I guess it's oem? I don't know how to confirm.
The driver headlight has the new 15000k bulb I bought off ebay for a mere $7 with free shipping ordered oct 25 and got it oct 29!

you asked, so be prepared for the responses (if any). OEM was better/safer. 15000k will result in significantly reduced visibility at night.

I doubt the bulb will last more than 6 months. There's a reason why it was that cheap. The cheapo xenons typically last very little time.
If they last more than a year you're very lucky.
For reference to what a bulb should last, mine are original and still working.
So 13 years. Jeez that's a long time haha

stock xenons are like 4300K/4500K. I don't think you have stock xenons but filament bulbs??
15000K are actually going to provide less output on the road.

My Ride: Has no throttle
- It looks like garbage
- It glares and will piss everyone off
- You will see less at night
- 15000k is purple. Really? Purple?
- The Kelvin scale for lights refers to color temperature NOT light output. That is lumens, and 4300-4800k produces the optimal light temperature for visibility and glare reduction

6000K is the best of both worlds...

The one on the left is more of 4500K, which is oem.

The one you purchase will likely die within a few months... The amount of gases inside that bulb are a fraction of what Philips has in the oem bulbs, hence why they won't last very long.

I would have bought the 6000K for both sides... something from one of the sponsors with a warranty.

I'm running 5000K eBay bulbs in my car. I've had them for a year, so I'd say it was $12 well spent. 15000K is just stupid. So is 10000K. And 8000K.

Yep, eBay xenon light bulbs are fine if you're willing to replace them once a year and for $12-15 is no big deal for me.

I like the 5000k-6000k anything else looks outdated or stupid.

If you were coming down the road I would flash my brights at you because the light is so bright. I already have people flashing their brights at me on normal halogen bulbs. I'd really hate you.

Haha I got a bit more **** than what you're getting when I posted a thread like this. I spent like 5 gollars for TWO 6000K Xenon Gas Bulbs. Better than the 15 I spent at Autozone for a phillips. [ I think it might have been a Sylvania. ]

Disgusting...stock is best for safety, you aren't going to see anything at night. 6000k would be the highest I would go.
