I'm at wrk right now, but there is a link on box'o'truth going over te effectiveness of the judge in its different loadings. It does absolutely nothing right. .410, even in 00buck is ineffective man stopper, especially out of that short barrel. 45lc is potent, but there are no proper SD loadings for the round. Both 45lc and .410 are obscure rounds which even practice ammo is hard to find.

Don't waste your time and hard earned cash on gimmick guns like that. it places a dangerously false sense of confidence in subpar hardware, and makes you look like a total fool in front of experienced shooters.

This.

Ballistic testing of .410 has shown less than ideal performance. .45LC is a cowboy action cartridge, not a modern defense cartridge, so it's generally worthless for personal use due to no duty/defense cartridges being available.
Besides that, it's a HUGE gun. It's not going to do anything a smaller gun like a 9mm or .40S&W subcompact pistol, or .357mag snubby can't do.

My Ride: What else?
Re: Snake gun, I just happened to be on a different forum and saw this.

I got a biggen last time i went out. It was about 15 feet behind my deer stand and startled the living crap out of my girlfriend when she went back to the Jeep. She got within a few feet by the time she noticed it. When i got to her, it was curled up in the brush to where i couldn't really see what was what. That thing took 5 shots of .410 buckshot out of a Judge before he finally died....

Finally picked up my Sig!!!!

Sig Sauer p229 .40 caliber (regular model)
Viridian Green Laser C5L laser/light combo

Gun is freakin unbelievable. And the laser is even more ridiculous. Broad daylight I can see the laser 100 yards away.
