i just deleted my FB mobile. Sure, people post stupid **** but I REALLY HATE the App advertisements and "Like a Page" posts from FB that riddle the mobile version. At least on my home/laptop FB I can hide elements so I don't see that ****. I've hit "install now" buttons for apps by mistake when scrolling my touchscreen....FFFFFFFFAAAAAAACCCCCCKKKKK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUU FB MOBILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1

After 6 years of it, I took the plunge and permanently deleted my profile last month.

No you didn't, you suspended it. Your information and everything ever posted on your wall is there forever.

I just thought it was strange that you claimed to be seeing his food pics on Facebook when you allegedly don't have an active account.

Sorry, Dave. I should have been more clear.

I was referring to the pics that he posts in this thread:

This is something I just don't understand. Why people feel the need to upload photos of their food...

One of my buddies started taking pictures of his taco bell and subway lunch as a joke.

He says he's going to start taking pictures of Asians taking pictures of their food and create a new blog.

That part sucks but, to me, it was better than letting new data collect by staying on there. I downloaded an archive of my profile in case I ever wanted to look back on things.

Obviously, but it really should make us more cautious of how we treat internet "privacy" going forward.

i'm annoyed by 90% of faecebook posts. i think i stay on because i enjoy seeing what kind of stupid things people do from high school. most of them are losers and i secretly love to see them gripe.
