I think it's more a netbook than an actual tablet. Comparing to my ipad(an original one) is that the surface is neat but the ipad works more smoothly and apps don't crash constantly. Netflix just won't stay open on the surface.

so I'm stuck using my iphone.

ingress looks pretty cool... but to really get into it, it seems as though you'd have to quit your job

the problem with stuff like this is when a few people get addicted and take it too far - they'll literally start living in that 'world' and do things without considering consequences of the real world ... i.e. psychosis.

maybe in realty Google is working with psychiatrists to drum up business?
