I haven't watched it in years but stumbled across SNL late Saturday after a dinner. Was appalled at the overt onslaught towards the Romney campaign.

In my opinion, Obama represents all that is fundamentally wrong with the current mentality of MANY Americans. The notion is that we are entitled to FAR too much, work FAR too little, and demonize those that have been successful. The "Obama cash", "Obama phone", and a boatload of other audio clips over the last 4 years have served as continual reminders that there are many in this nation who believe it is the government's role to provide for them... WRONG. It is OUR job to provide the government with enough that they can provide us with basic essentials (national security, federal highways, etc).

We need to RUN from this mentality as it is nothing more than a guaranteed path towards Greece. We're inflating our debt at record levels and, regardless of what Obama would like to claim, a second term would be just as bad. Reason being, this is a big government individual who has known nothing BUT government. He sees capitalism as fundamentally flawed as a result of the lessons learned from his anti-capitalistic, anti-american father (who he clearly idolized). Obama views big business as bad, he views workers as nothing more than exploited slaves, and he looks to even that playing field by bringing down the whole system.

To run from it, and to return to a largely capitalistic mindset, we need a winner from the free market. Someone who views business, not as an evildoer, but as the number one tool out of poverty. You see, Obama views corporations as the creator of poverty and government as the leg up and out of that reality. Romney realizes it is the free market and the corporations there within that can help individuals HELP THEMSELVES to a better tomorrow. The left wants to demonize Romney because he's seen winners and losers and they want to elect a man who knows only life as a winner.. a man who grew up worshiping a man he didn't know and learning from those who were like-minded (his mentor Frank Marshall Davis was a card carrying member of the communist party).

Romney represents that which has made America great (individualism, exceptionalism, and the free market) while Obama represents the failures of the USSR, the mediocrity of Europe, and the fiscal failures that are Medicare, Medicaid, and SS.

As for women, Romney WON'T be able to pass any legislation banning abortion and he won't have the power to simply nominate as many judges as needed to make that a reality. FWIW, is your stance behind Obama really so shallow that you have to resort to abortion? Don't vote for a guy because of their stance on gay rights or abortion.. it just goes to show that you really don't have a grasp of the muuuuuch larger issues at stake.

Would you vote for a doomed economy if it meant gay rights were included or would you vote for economic stability regardless of its outcome on gay rights? Personally, I'll take a strong America.

I just really wanted to know. I had no point in that question other than i just really want to know why. I'm not going to argue with u because that's what you believe in and respect that. As for the women vote thing, hey its an issue that stands out to them and its important to them which i understand why. And you're right they should be voting more on the greater good, but with that said, that might be an issue of greater good for them along with being about the people. They're suppose to vote for someone who can understand the people's needs and that happens to be one of them.
