I hate the way they look. I'm so used to working with vortechs and procharger. These look like an AC compressor to me. Just a personal opinion though.

That's not a 1 owner car cause that was mine and I was the first owner
You can pull the strut bar off and and see where welded the crack Your alpine cd changer uses a blitz adapter The Motorola bt is in the ashtray which is cracked The taillights aren't ee theyre depo just like the headlights but with zkw lenses Thats a UUC strut barbarian with magnesium ends The dpes aren't powder coated by painted silver and they have hankook v12 on the It's a stock flywheel and clutch The aux won't work cause of an adapter I put in and the aux is near the dsc button and it's not centered The mtech2 bumper has scrapes on the lips and my fog light covers are spray painted silver and te driver side has a piece of black plastic glued to it to block the duct because of the filter for the blower and the fogs were upgraded with an hid kit The sways are UUC not turner The brake duct on the driver side was taken out The rear axle was hit by a driver which resulted in a bent trailing arm which was replaced along with UUC adjustable control arms The rear bumper has been reprinted twice from being hit If you look at the paint you can see on the inner lip where it's black and silver and where under the clear you can see trash on the edges Anyone who wants to buy my old car I sold to a dealer I'll tell you the problems Btw those miles weren't babied that car was pushed hard since i got the car new from classic BMW and even harder when the blower was installed at 65k miles I hope your buddy pushed the blower cause it needs to be rebuilt Last edited by bishop1977; 06-28-2012 at 04:55 AM. |

The original poster probably is the dealer who bought at auction. He has offered to source cars for members on here. Also had the nerve to tell me my 2002 M5 with 33k miles was worth $13k (subsequently sold it for close to $30k).
Thanks for looking out for all of us. Don't think this will sell on here anytime soon. Out of curiosity, how much did you get for it on the trade? Curious how much profit this guys is trying to make off of a forum member. Last edited by illirep; 06-28-2012 at 08:27 AM. |

Wow! Ok first off, my name is Anthony and I am the current owner of the 2004 330i mentioned in this thread. Let's get a few things straight. 02bmw330I is a friend of mine and was only trying to help me out with a sale. I am an autobroker and bought the car for personal use so it is currently my daily driver and because it's an open title, it is still a 1 owner car. My ownership has only been 1 month from the day I bought it from Sewell. I'm selling it now because I want an automatic for a daily. I've been a member of this board for some time and attempted to sell E46 M3 parts off another auction car but was low balled so badly, I preferred not to waste my time. That car was a piece so I stripped it down and sold the parts. Go to the M3 Forum and you will find many happy members who bought these parts. No offense to this board because it is one of the better ones. I contacted your brother via email through the DFW Club forum(at least he said he was your brother, have that email saved as well)because I found his original posting of the car. I asked him about details of the car or asked if he could have you call me but never heard back. My reason for doing so was so I could have all the facts of the vehicle if I decided to sell it or continue building it. The parts listed above where cut and pasted from my OVE dealer listing and my friend provided you guys the same info. As you can see from the link below, my info was cut and pasted from your brothers DFW Club add. I personally added a Turner Motorsport light weight flywheel(part#520-190-240). You see, I own a shop called Afterdark Motoring and sell and install performance parts. The blower does not need a rebuild because I personally have had them rebuilt by Active Autowerkes. I know Craig and the guys at Active so this is not my first time dealing with there products. They know me as HDA Autosports, my dealer license name. The fact that my friend listed this add as babied miles was the only mistake I see because he and I have no idea how the car was driven before but like I stated in my original listing, the vehicle has no mechanical issues and runs smooth. The car only has a 15-20sec hesitation on a cold start due to an Active Autowerkes tuning glitch that they were unable to get around. Craig at Active explained that it will only happen in warmer climate and if you really want to eliminate the issue, buy a standalone ecu. This issue only happens a few times, not consistent. The vehicle is used with 105,000 miles so who would assume that the car would have no minor interior or exterior imperfections! Overall, you know your car is straight with no eye sores other then the bumper scuff that clearly can be seen in the pic. My add had my number listed and I told dealers to contact me with any questions. Same goes here, if anyone wants any other details other then the ones mentioned here, feel free to call me. I always recommend people get a PPI if they are buying from out of state so no one is attempting to pull the wool over anyones eyes. I understand if your brother never attempted to call you and pass my number or if you where to busy to contact me but I personally disclose any issues with my cars before selling. I hope this clears a few things up and again, anyone can call me with any questions. Thanks for reading my long winded reply.

Oh and as for the powder coating listing, you can see that your brother stated that they where powder coated grey so I assumed the current finish was powdercoated as well. You say the 2 front wheels are bent? With no vibration or balancing issues and clearly no visible signs how could I possibly know that? I will take them to Discont Direct, my tire distributer, to have them inspected by there wheel expert.

I also don't get your post about the receipts because if they are being advertised then the buyer would know exactly where they came from regardeless of the sellers location. You could have approached this whole matter differently but I also understand how it might look to everyone. No need to be so negative.

Last thing. Illrep, what is wrong with a board member/enthusiast, trying to help other enthusiasts, find a car. The classifieds are flooded with members looking for certain cars and ask help from anyone. You are bitter with him because he low balled you on your M5 so you want to discredit him? I'm sure your M5 was a beaut but $30k was a bit high even with those miles. congrats though on that sell. You shouldn't attempt to burn bridges for other members who might appreciate his help.

Ayashifx55 you are right but his matter of stating the issues make it seem as if the car is rough. In no way does the car drive funny or have any mechanical issues and the Carfax had no collision history so his fender benders must have not had police reports. I invite any local DFW member to inspect the car and tell me what they think. I'm cool with giving test drives just for fun.
