Griffin Reveal. It sucks, dirt gets through the abnormally large camera hole and the longer it sits it starts pressing into the phone. The air jackets case look good, but i have tried it. Right now I am not using one and I don't think I want to.

I have an Elago case on my 4, and it seems they make them for the 5 too.

Fit is perfect.. like a glove. Has a raised area around the screen and no covers over the buttons so if you drop it, the hold button doesn't get jammed like other cases that have a mold for the hold button. Just two days ago I dropped my 4 flat on its face.. didn't even bounce. Picked it up and it was like nothing ever happened. Had my 4 for almost 2 years now with 0 cracked screens or jammed buttons. I'll be staying with Elago if/when I get the 5.

Cheap too. Heres a random one I clicked on @ Amazon. $10 (tons of colors too)

I have a otter box commuter case and it has worked out great so far, I did crack it taking it off though but thats my own fault. A little black electrical tape on the inside and it is as goods as new. I had the same case for my 4 and the thing is extremely durable.

Also got a Desmay case today, its more of a skin than a case, extremely thin and will protect well againt scratches but not so sure it will protect at all against drops. Plus it was a little tough putting it on and taking it off.

I just received my iPhone 5 the other day and also went with the Griffin Reveal case in teal/turquoise color. I agree that it does have a large camera hole so what I did was have my iPhone wrapped in the Zagg Invisible Shield Extreme on both the front and rear so that even if any dirt gets thru the large case camera hole then it won't affect my phone.

I figure I'll try this case for now until I find something else I like such as the cases made by LifeProof.

Lifeproof for those who are the adventurous type. Offers some protection against water, dirt, snow and shock. Kinda pricey though at $79. Still haven't got one for the 5 but I use it for my 4s.

There really aren't that many options out there for wood cases. My favorites are the Karvt skins, I have one on my Mac, but its a non-removable stick on. I already ordered one so I can use it later in my iPhones life when its scratched up (like I did with my Mac), but I can't find anything good to use until then. That Grove case looks really bulky.

The grove case is really not that bulky it's about just as big as I would want to go. Everytime some one sees my case they flip out and say its awesome

You seem to have an unnatural attachment to your case. I'm sure it's cool, it looks cool, but I doubt people flip out when they see it.

Screen protectors:

The Mediadevil screen protectors are better than the SGP ones. They are thinner by a noticeable amount, and a good bit more scratch resistant.

I had an SGP ultra clear on first, now a Mediadevil Magicscreen clear.

The Steinheil crystal clear screen protector included with my SGP Ultra Thin Air case is extremely susceptible to scratches. I already have a few deep ones in the screen protector. I ordered the Power Support USA matte set and it's currently waiting for me at the Apple store. Used them for 2 years on my iPhone 4 without issues.

It's too bad, because I really liked the crystal clear one. It was like there was nothing between me and the screen.

I just put myself on the list for one of those Liteproof cases. That will come in handy!

Still on my short list for a possible case, but after checking out this thread I found this-

http://www.carved.com/shop/iphone-5-...lear-case.html

Despite ripping off the name of my favored brand these guys look like they have a decent option for something that isn't super bulky but also features some wood, more options for types of wood too. Being as the most expensive one is $24 with free shipping, and the cheaper ones are $19, it seems to be one of the better ones I have found so far.
