It would be a cool piece if you worked for them or maybe owned or worked at a dealer.

Both are cool, but a shirt makes you (..speaking generally ) seem more like a douche-nozzle than a phone case. I would still rock certain automotive shirts/jackets/hats, but I know people utter sh|t under their breath or ask, "Do you really drive a BMW/M3?"...."Do you really ride a Ducati?" It's annoying!

It says that this ships from HONG KONG, how long did it take you to receive it in the mail?

Price: $23 Lay on table design: Yes Shock protection: 2* Fit: 5* Problems: Does not include any screen protection, only covers back and sides. Texture/Grip: A tiny bit grippier than the naked phone to my fingers. Otherwise, texture is smooth. Whereas the naked phone will slide easily across a glass table, once the case is on, it doesn't slide without serious effort. Screen protector compatible: Don't know yet, since I ordered MediaDevil goodies from Amazon today. However, I still have the clear plastic screen cover that was part of the Apple factory packaging on the phone and they don't interfere with each other. Pros: Cheaper than some others, but see Cons. Easy install. Looks clean once in place. Not fancy and overly pretty. But I actually like that. I like simple. Cons: On/off button action is a little numb, takes a fairly firm push to activate the button. Honestly, I think it's too expensive. For example, I haven't seen the Ringke in person, but I doubt this Rocketfish is twice as good a case. Other comments: Got the phone Thurs night, wanted to get some kind of case on it right away. Nothing really turned me on at the Sprint store. Went to Best Buy today and decided on the Rocketfish. May still end up ordering some other case now that the phone is protected for the meantime. Will see. Link: http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/pr...RF-A5T2LP.html * I've owned the phone for 48 hrs, I've owned the case for about 12 hrs at this point. I haven't dropped the phone to test the shock protection, and my only point of reference for the fit is the case I've had on my iPod classic for about 4 years. My shock protection rating is a guess, and the fit rating is a 5 because for this particular case, I don't think it could fit any better. ![]()

I just saw this thread bumped I totally forgot to add some pics. Here are some iPhone pics of my case. Overall it's not bad aesthetically. It's basically a fake cf vinyl with a well pressed m sticker on it lol. I do find that I get horrible service with the case on. Which is weird. I'm not currently using it because of that problem.

The last case I bought:
Model of Case: Twig Case Price: $79 Lay on table design (raised screen lip): Yes Shock protection: 4. Will protect the iPhone- but the case is rigid and may not survive a fall down a flight of stairs unscathed. Fit: 5 Problems: Some dust can get in through the camera port. This is a minor issue because the case is lined with some sort of fabric. Texture/Grip: Good, feels like wood. Screen protector compatible: Yes. Not body skin compatible Pros: Best feeling case I've bought Cons: Slightly increases phone bulk Other comments: Link: http://www.twigcase.com The tolerances are very tight. I had a Skinomi on the back, and I think I could have forced the phone into the case, but I decided to remove the back film instead. A thinner, dry film may still work on the back. Here are the pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Having said all that and even made this thread, 9/10 times I don't use a case. Only when I'm working on the car, outdoors or going to a gym do I slip the case on. Last edited by Grande D; 03-18-2013 at 12:35 PM. |
