My Ride: a couple
Newbie from west ohio.

Just started stepping up from the e36's into the e46's. I've owned quite a few e36's and know my way around those quite well. This seems like a great site and look forward to learning some new thigns and passing on what i've learned.

I'm usually out in the garage wrenching or out driving, so my replys might be sporadic but hey you guys understand right.

My current project is a 2002 Topaz Blue 330Ci.

Picked it up for $4400 with 157k miles, no rust, pretty clean exterior, interior was sand and it was trashed (it was a smokers car, ick), its also an auto (but the price and color were right so i couldn't pass it up)

It wouldn't idle right and there were a ton of codes, along with a crack in the cooling resivoir, and a loud clacking sound (broken disa valve). I bought it in columbus and limped it home to dayton and promptly tore into the first/day and night.

-Replaced the CCV valve and hoses
-Replaced Sparkplugs
-Replaced VGC
-Replaced Radiator, overflow tank and hoses
-retrofitted 03 m3 projector bi-xeons, and umnitza angel eyes
-cabin air filter
-oem led Tailights
-dinan CAI
-M3 solid fcabs
-drilled and slotted rotors, new pads
-e46 m3 Ground Control Street/track Coilover kit 550fr/650r and camber plates
-17x7.5 rc041's on 245/40 Michelin pilot super-sports
-Shadowline trim, black kidneys, black e46 m3 mirrors, e36 spoiler (waiting on my csl trunk)

-Complete Swap to black interior with brushed aluminum trim.
-M3 Power/lumbar heated seats
-smg shifterknob (didn't haveany non-woodgrain automatic knobs)
-Boston acoustic Components fr and rear, Boston g212 dual subs
-Soundstream Rubicon 600 4/3/2 amp and a boston gt2200 amp to power the system
-Alpine ida-x305s Headunit

She feels pretty good so far, But there is oh so much planned yet to do.
