'03 Xi Auto-Leveling lights

Hi guys, I'm having issues with my head lights...
They don't seen to level off properly...
They seem to be pointing down..

When I turn the key to position 2, the auto leveler lowers the lights down, I can hear the motor trying to push even further, than it brings the lights slightly higher but not level...

The motor it's getting power, hanse; the slight movement and sounds of trying to push lower...

What are my options...?
Any DIY's...?

Are there any diagnostics I can run to find out where is the fault..?

How can I manually adjust the beam, until I can take it to my mechanic or dealership..?

There are two knobs on top of each headlight, they control up/down and side/side. Give that a shot first.

Can I adjust while the lights are on..?
Also, wouldn't the auto-leveler try to kick in and re-set what I've just done..?

Usually when you manually adjust the headlights, they will over ride the automatic leveling of the projectors

Thanks,
Just did it.., it's easy once you know which knob to turn...
I can see better now...

Additional question though..,
When I try to fix the adjusting motors or replace them...
Will I have to do anything to remove the manual adjustments or will the "fixed/new" motors do that on their on..?

They will do that on their own, as the mounts are already manually over ridden.

Thanks for the quick replies...

So, to recap...
Once I install the fixed/new adjusting motors... They will, reset the manual settings I just made...

Once again...
Thanks for the help...
