I give in...E46 no start

Hi!
Right, I've been lurking here for well over a year now, take snippets of info I need and 99% of the time everything on here has been spot on...

Well now I have my own dilemma, and I have searched for weeks to no avail.

1999 BMW E46 328ci

Car was running fine. Installed a crappy ebay chip and ended up having to get a new ECU built and aggressively mapped.

Jason at VW Auto Repairs (well known for being a good BMW ECU tuner) Built me up a new ECU, coded to the cars VIN and synced it with the DME and key.
He tested the ECU and DME in another car and it was working, before sending it back for the 2nd time with the same problem :

Temp gauge in red when key is ON
No fuel pump noise, no prime. No start.

So car will crank but will not start. No MIL light, only DSC.
I've checked all the fuses, relays and everything's fine. ECU and DME are obviously fine too as they worked on the test car.

recently I did mods to the car while the ECU was being rebuilt after my first ECU problem with the stupid ebay chip (Please please please- no one buy any tuning chips from ebay)

INstalled: 7'' Android double din in dash.
Moved HAVOC controls
Intsalled: Push Button Start in cig tray (can still use key to start)
Wired multi 12V sockets into original 12V sockets live and earth.
INtsalled: Plasma Dials, wired into side lights for illumination
Installed: MOMO steering wheel and did away with air bag.

The ECU and DME are coded to the car and the ECU and DME worked in the test car at Jasons shop.....

I'm stuck. Totally stuck. Totally pi**ed off but I do still love my car!
Please, someone help me out here. I don't want an expensive paper weight.

I think I included all info needed but if you need anything else, please ask!!

Thanks for reading

So this didn't give it away? Get a new fuel pump, then come back.

I'm kind of curious as to why you would remove the airbag, but that's not part of this problem. You just removed the greatest development in car safety since the seatbelt.

So is the shop troubleshooting this for you, or you're on your own? Since there were DME issues, I would check for 12V signal to the pump before replacing.

Thanks for the replies so far-

WDE46
I have no airbag because I have an aftermarket MOMO steering wheel...as I stated in the same sentence.
I fail to see why this is an issue you feel you had to bring up? I'm well aware that it's a safety feature. I was only stating what mods I had done in the interim so as to help folks with troubleshooting my problem - the more information you have on the car, the better. Telling me to go spend money and come back to you is not very helpful at all, somewhat pointless, trolling.....
I'm not here for character assassination, I'm here for help. Thanks

Thanks for the info.
Fuel Pump- was working fine until the new ECU went back in again. I highly doubt it's a fuel pump issue as there is continuity. I will recheck again tomorrow tho.
I'm semi on my own as far as BMW's go. We have a family garage tho, so tools/ramp etc are not a problem. I'm more than confident to do the work myself!
Jason reckons it's a CAN issue somewhere....

I've seen this problem over and over again, and no solid fix.
