Rotor Scoring
I put new rotors and pads on about six months ago. I noticed my front left rotor has some scoring on the outer edge, the other 3 rotors are fine, any ideas as to what is causing this issue ? I appreciate the help. Thanks, Don C.

It looks to me like something metal is seriously gouging the rotor. Take it all apart and see what you find.

Did you remember to clean and lubricate the caliper guide pins..? If the calipers aren't floating freely the pads may be biting into the rotor.

what's the best thinbg to use for lubrication of the guide pins, i know there are restrictions as to the type of lubrication. I have silver neverseize, and superlube. I would think i need high temp specialized brake lubricant.
