I have this turbo and I am trying to figure out exactly what it is.
![]() ![]() ![]() In the circular tube of the turbo there is what looks like a "7." What else is a way to determine model or size? Thanks. Last edited by BeamNblack; 11-06-2012 at 08:05 PM. |

very easily. take off the compressor and turbine housing and measure the wheels.
you can also measure the dimension for the turbine inlet flange. 57mmx44mm is T3 and 75mmx50mm is T4

Any other tips? The inlet isn't matching up.

He gave you a for sure way of identifying the turbo. There really aren't any other tips to help you identify exactly what turbo it is.
In regards to the turbine inlet, are you sure you measured the correct part? It's the opening in your last picture.. the opening that has the orange/copper silicon gasket maker partially in one corner. By looking at the picture the housing appears to be a T31 2.5" 4-bolt T3 turbine housing. To find out more you really need to remove the housings and measure the wheels Last edited by dan avoN7; 11-06-2012 at 10:39 PM. |
