WHAT: A monthly Cars & Coffee gathering.
WHERE: Crestwood Coffee Company (see below for map).
WHEN: Third Saturday of each month. Meeting up at 10:00 a.m.
WHO: All auto enthusiasts!

So it has been decided that the third Saturday of each month is the designated meetup date for our Cars & Coffee. We plan to meet at Crestwood Coffee Co. at 10:00 a.m. We had a pretty good turnout on our last one with some gorgeous cars, so let's see if we can showcase some more!

Got a few people confirmed to come. We may hang out at Avondale Brewery afterwards... not sure yet.

With the majority of people who attend, 10:00 a.m. is beyond reasonable. I try to schedule to fit what's best for the group as a whole. If you work the graveyard shift, sure, I can understand 10:00 a.m. being a little early.

Due to an issue at work, I will not be coming to Cars & Coffee. I have to work most of the day Saturday and I am VERY, VERY pissed off about it.

Oh well... an extra $162 on the paycheck won't be too bad.

So is this meet still going on??? Not a lot of responses in this thread. Just curious. And don't wanna thread jack, but thought you might want to know...
...that we're doing a Cars & Coffee meet EVERY Saturday at the O'Henry's Coffee in Brookwood Village/Mall, if anyone's interested.
And this one's early enough (7:30 to 9:30am) that you can still make it to the the Crestwood C&C @ 10am every 3rd Saturday.

The Southeast board has been hit or miss lately, it seems. I had one great meetup that turned into a disaster once the party got split up. Alas, it was still enjoyable for everyone in the end.

I figured a Cars & Coffee meeting would be much easier and would prove to be not nearly as difficult to keep up with everyone. I hope to have attendance increase with each meet.

I hear ya. Gotta have ground rules even for C&C meets lol

Your Saturday morning meets? Tough to say. I live in Pell City, so it's an hour's drive to Birmingham for me. It's a good chunk of gas, too.

If anyone else is following this thread, then I need to let you know that TODAY we're NOT meeting at the Crestwood Coffee Company. The usual group didn't really seem interested in changing the venue for the meet...
We're meeting at the O'Henry's Coffee at Brookwood Mall at 8:30 then cruising Hwy 25. If you're interested in getting the most up to date info, then google Birmingham Cars & Coffee and it'll be one first links to come up. (Or just click the link in my thread signature.) It's a facebook page, but you don't need to have an account to get all the details.

I think we may start making it a bi-weekly meetup. Would you be interested in making it a giant meetup with your crew? We may find a new venue and set new times... I'll have to talk to everyone to see what they think.

If I didn't live five hours away I'd come, that's a lot of gas for a cup of coffee!

Yeah... things tend to fall apart when people don't respond to your invitations.
