Okay, trying to get aux and/or iPod input to stock Business cd radio in '01 325xi, radio does NOT have the MODE Button. Just noticed on the bottom of the trunk lid, says Prewired For BMW CD, which I assume cd changer wiring IS in the trunk. So... The big question is what are my options now? I don't know if I need Dice(?), Grom, Blitzsafe or something else to easily plug into cd changer wiring in the trunk to connect a mp3 player or iPod.
Can any of these work by ONLY connecting in the trunk without having to pull the radio out? Help please! |

I have the Dice Silverline Pro connected to the cd changer connections in the trunk. I ran the cable under the carpet to arm rest console. Works perfectly!!!

Either or. Grom will give you the connector for the back of the radio OR the trunk cable. Both do the same thing.

Thanks for the help, guys, anyone else prefer one over the other?
Are all of these able to only connect to wiring in trunk to work? Thanks! *Update* After reading the pictorial thread on the USA-Spec, I believe that is exactly what I am wanting! Last edited by wvBimmer3Series; 11-07-2012 at 01:49 PM. |
