Really odd... hopping... on turns... help?
This is hard to explain, and maybe it is completely normal, but I am not use to it...
If I take a right turn, faster than recommended, but not fast enough to lose traction (imagine a really long circular on-ramp), I begin to hear what seems like is my rear tire hopping. I say tire because it definitely feels like just one, not both. Also only happens on right turns. My amateur self believes it is my rear right because all the weight is on my rear left, and with no skidding or loss of traction, it's like the rear right is just bumping along.
I've had the suspension, wheel bearings, tires (which are new), wheel balance, and shocks/springs checked, but so far 3 shops can not find anything wrong.
I have a track event scheduled in a week and a pre-track inspection tomorrow, but am hoping to get some ideas of what this could be (if it is a real issue) so I can bring it up at the pre-track insp. It's hard for them to replicate what I see because it's unlikely they'll take my car out and go that fast on an on-ramp.
thoughts?
