E46... Meet e30

Owned my m3 since June, and needed something for the winter. Decided I'd stick with a bmw

For anyone interested:

1989 325i
Odometer is stuck at 204000... Based on smog tests from previous owner in Cali it's probably somewhere around 215000-220000. Plan to get tan sport seats, new shift boot, steering wheel, and carpets and the interior will look perfect.
No rust ... Plan on keeping it that way. Car wash with underbody spray each week once the salt comes out

If you ever find a clean one try and get it ! It hasn't been sitting outside my house for a week and someone already left a note on it offering to buy it !

Sports seats are actually well worth it, especially if you're skinny like me. I prefer them by far over the e46 sport seats, which are too wide for me and uncomfortable on long trips. I don't think the factory e30 sports are actually made by Recaro, though.

This. They're awesome for people who are skinny. If I had a mint black leather pair I'd put them in my e46.
And no, they're not made by recaro

Nice, I like that it matches your E46 I'd like to get an E30 for myself some day... I bought an ex-gf a '91 318i while we were dating, it was a fun little car. I'd love to get my hands on a '91 318is someday.

Definitely get those sports seats, and a limited slip (if it doesn't already have one)

Dude, When I was putting the address on that part I sent you the other day, I realized that you are right next to the MSP Airport. I could have handed that part to you a few weeks ago!
I have changed my mind. That part is no longer free. You either have to give me a ride to Rochester (round trip), so I can skip the Rochester Direct Disease Shuttle.
Or, you have to visit me in Rochester when I am having a particularly bad week, and help me break the boredom/sickness/sleeping cycle for a bit.

Nice e30! That should be a fun winter beater. I bet you can do turns with the hand brake.
Nice M3 too. But I hear the engine bay is a hideous sight.....

i'm thinking about redoing my entire seats myself in white leather for my vert. not sure if i want to tackle that though.
already have a seat apart just because. but idk. sewing leather does not sound fun.

They are so well made I could had sworn they are made by Recaro, the ones on my e30 were just re-upholstered (will post pics later)
