Mandatory snow tires in Germany for BMW Euro-delivery?
Check this out. Gotta love the Germans, taking reckless fools off of the road and making it a law to eliminate stupidity when it comes to driving in the snow:

Couldn't we just not have a law and let idiots who want to drive on Michelin PSS's in the snow do, thus thinning out the population? Wouldn't that be more natural?

I picked up my car in Munich in October of last year and drove around with PS2's no problem. However I did monitor the weather according to my route and also had a back up plan of renting snow tires/wheels.

Its only if you cause an accident, I was there in November in 2009 for ED and got the snow tires because I heard of this law.
It was fine, there was no snow at all, something about how that part of the country is in a valley or something and the weather is less retarded there. |

I'll be picking up a 2013 M3 on January 7th..... with snow tires. Going to do some traveling and hit up Stuttgart and such too.

They also require you to possess sun glasses while driving as well as a first aid kit.

Its a good law, I wish they had it here People drive with big lifted tires and mud terrains so basically zero grip on ice, people always say oh well it dosent matter if you can drive good, If you have no grip it dosent matter how good you can drive
