Camshaft specs

I've seen PEI330 post them before

M54B25
M54B30
and of course ZHP

I think I'm going to do the upgrade, but I want to see the difference between the lift/duration profiles. It won't tell me much, but it's better than nothing.

Dunno. I would expect them to be the same or similar to the Schricks of same duration but that's only a guess.

exhaust cam is 228 9.0mm lift. People who say its 244 duration are wrong.

Source? I'm pretty sure my numbers are correct, especially considering how weak the exhaust side flow is.

nobody specs advertised duration at zero lift.

comparing advertised duration across different cam companies is a waste of time. even if the advertised is the same and specced the same the cam profile can still be massively different and you'd never know. Someone needs to plot out some valve lift curves if they want to make the most informed choice

My specs are from a BMW technical PDF on the M52/M54 engines, I don't know how they measured the lift though.

the advertised duration tells very little about the cam but better than a stab in the dark. i can have a smaller advertised duration cam but have massively more lobe area and the engine will perform a lot better
