What kind of DIY ecu tuning is possible

Hello Fanatics,
i have a question .. what kind of ecu tuning can i do with the stock ecu ?? i come from owning a Evo the mods on it were not to wild but everytime i did somthing to it i would take it to get a tune with a tuner and the way i thought was best to do it was through the stock ecu . they would pretty much do dyno pulls and make adjustments to create a safe and powerful tune . Im new to to the whole modding bmw's and just would like to know if there is actually a software that is similar that could do the same thing to a E46 m3 .. ??

As of now... no. Most of the people in the know have no interest in sharing anything

I suspect this may change before the end of the year
