CP pistons are nice. But why? I'm pretty sure the M54B30 has forged guts from the factory. If you're planning on lots of boost and/or abuse it's a pretty long shopping list...
But, for my money, nothing beats a good racing Mahle piston and Carillo rods... |

What do you plan on doing? Trying to put a turbo or blower on it?

Vac has an affordable rod package. They have tested them up to 550whp. I'm planning on buying a set.

Would it even be worth It to turbo it or supercharge it ? Its the 4dr and its automatic but the car needs a lot of work and I figured I may as well build it

Don't get caught up in the BS of "I'll build this car, this way, because it'll be different." Depending on the work that needs to be done, I'd say try and get it as close to factory floor room stock as possible... and sell it.
Seriously, if you've got the cash to build/boost a 330, look at getting an M3 or an M5 if you need the 4 doors. It's one thing to slap on a turbo kit or supercharger but when you look beyond that, and to the entire package, an M series has significantly more potential. I'll put it this (Honda) way: Would you really want to boost an automatic EG LX if you could spend a little more and get an ITR? |

I would say maybe he would want to boost a 4-door. i have a 4-dr automatic 328 and I'm thinking that even a mildly boosted 300 hp 4-door sports sedan that handles and brakes well is a good thing to have. even better is to mildly build the engine and then up the boost with a target of about 400 hp. i'd guess such a combo would run mid-12 sec quarter miles and still get 30 mpg. I'm game. i like the M5s but they are too big for me. however, i know a lot of guys who like the bigger V8 cars. it's all a matter of taste or preference I guess.
