The Official: Stocks and Trading thread

Here's a thread for people to discuss their opinions on the trends of equities whether it be banks, tech, currencies or just an opinion on one stock in particular.

I'll start off by saying I own shares in Activision (ATVI) I got in between 10-10.50 a few years ago. It hasn't performed as well as I would like but they just released Diablo III and I'm looking to sell about half if the price goes above 13 after their next earnings report

ARNA: Arena Pharm. Im sure this was on peoples radar long ago. It finally got its weight loss FDA approved. Is it to late to buy or is it going to keep rising?

I was eyeing ARNA at the 2 dollar level. I work in the pharma industry and was skeptical about it...should've pulled the trigger. Oh well, sticking to what's been profitable for me, AAPL options.

What are people's opinion of ATVI? I have been holding the stock since 08. Originally, I liked their Guitar Hero Brand. That's old news but Call of Duty and World of Warcraft are their cash cows, though WOW is slowly losing monthly subscribers. The company does very well each quarter but the stock price has been capping around 12 for some time now

all of them, on a big ass board. lol

I actually enjoy watching the penny stocks. just up and down up and down then flat..... but its good for high % climbs. prtn went almost 200%, but i was too late to pull the trigger. really wish i would have, but i got the tip off of a penny stock "newletter" so i took it as spam.
