All you new yorkers ....

.... and anyone else in the USA who have taken a beating from the hurricane.

I would just like to say I have been watching the news in the UK and am really sick about the mess I am seeing. It sucks big time. But I know you will rise above it as a city and a nation as you always do. Best wishes to you all and keep your chin up.

Its crazy to say but this is part of life. None of us could have stopped or changed the course of this storm. Hopefully everyone who means anything to you is safe. Power will come back, the Shore will rebuild...but lives can not be.

I bought my M3 from a seller in NJ right before the storm. I saved it from a guaranteed watery grave (I think he stored the car in an underground garage in Hoboken)

Its basically off the newsreels here in the UK. Sounds grim. Wish you all the best and I hope the glum forecasts prove to be overly pessimistic.

11th day without power here. I actually got it back for less than 24 hours and was taken out by the snow storm.

Gotta love LIPA. Day 11 for me too. My neighborhood is a ghost town. Most have left their homes.

Day 13 here. I see some linemen bucket trucks from Kentucky in my neighborhood. Our power feeder was heavily damaged by the 2 storms.
