Adaptive headlights only turning right

Has anybody had this issue before?? I noticed in the driveway last night that when I turn the wheel to the right, my bi-xenons angle to the right like they should, but once I turn left past center they stay dead ahead. Any idea what the cause is? First guess I have is the tilt motor in the driver side headlight is inop, but it makes sense to ask before I start shot gunning parts trying to fix it.
Thanks in advance guys.

Most likely it is the motor or a sensor that regulates the lights when you turn left. I'm not familiar with the adaptive headlights but I'm sure sillieidiot will chime in.
