Replacing cassette music player

Dear All

I got my new E46 German BMW 2001 unfortunately it contains a BMW Original cassette music player where no one nowadays is using this kind of old music technologies; I purchased a USB FM transmitter but itís not giving a Good Quality of sound; anybody does have a solution for this problem?

I really need to enjoy my ride with my Best Music.

Thanks In Advance.

Easy solution. Purchase a newer headunit either from dealer, Ebay, or other vendor. Manufactured date of 09/02 or later gets you aux-in capabilities. I forget what manufacture date gives you MP3 capabilites, but I think mid '04 and later. Someone else will need to confirm this.

The Original Head Unit that supports MP3 is it Consistent with The E46 Dashboard?
And do you have any Idea about the price of this item?

You can get virtual usb mp3 changers that give full mp3 quality. Grom Audio make a good one, but cheaper (and slightly more quirky) versions like Yatour are available on ebay. Both also allow 3.5mm input.
