Infrequent oil leak

Have a 2000 328 ci which has a very infrequent oil leak. Seems to occur after car has not been used for a few weeks. I back out of garage and get a tiny stream of oil after I get out of the garage. Leaks for about 75 ft slowing from tiny stream, to fast drip, then slow drip and then stops. Has never had one drop of oil in the garage or leaked enough to lower the engine oil. What is the possible cause?
