no am air fom center air vent

i cannot feel any warm air coming out from the center air vents on my zhp. the dial is all the way to the red side. also how the heck do you remove this center console vent. I almost broke my finers trying to pull it out

Those center vents are a PITA. I am not sure why they get so locked in.

The dial connects to a cable that runs off to an airvalve somewhere near the glovebox as I recall.

You should get air from the vent regardless of the dial setting.

But I also think there is some temp sensor that regulates when air will be directed from this vent??

I do not drive the E46 very often, so I cannot recall for sure how it works in the morning.
